Galea Aponeurotica is attached posteriorly to the External Occipital Protuberances and Highest Nuchal Lines. Anteriorly it is attached to the Frontalis Muscle.
Galea Aponeurotica is not richly supplied with Blood Vessels and Nerves.
FUNCTION
Galea Aponeurotica gives protection and mobility to the Scalp over the Cranium.
Galea Aponeurotica also gives important attachments to the Frontal, Occipital, Temporal and External Auricular Muscles.
