Hepatic Duct separates into Left and Right Hepatic Ducts. It receives all of the bile from liver from these ducts and carries it downwards. Common Hepatic Duct is connected to Gallbladder via Cystic Duct to form the common bile duct.

Hepatic Duct
Common Hepatic Duct transfers bile from both sides of liver to intestines via Common Bile Duct. Bile is liver secretion containing proteins, lipids, enzymes and hormones etc.
Common Hepatic Duct is usually 6-8cm long and 6mm wide in adults.
