Right Atrium is a thin, small, right superior Heart Chamber out of the four Chambers of the Heart. It is was previously known as Right Auricle which is now considered a part of right atrium. It is a part of the Circulatory System and involved in the transport of Deoxygenated Blood.

Right Atrium receives deoxygenated blood from the whole Body and Heart itself and send it to Right Ventricle. Tricuspid Valve maintains direction of flow of blood from Right Atrium to the Right Ventricle. Right Ventricle pumps this blood to the Pulmonary Circulation (lung circulation) for Oxygenation.
