Tensor Fasciae Latae has an origin and a complex insertion. Tensor Fasciae Latae is supplied by the Superior and Inferior Gluteal Arteries. It also receives blood from the branches of the Femoral Artery. Tensor Fasciae Latae gets innervated by the Superior Gluteal Nerve. Tensor Fasciae Latae stabilizes the Hip and the Knee joint while standing specially on one foot. It also flexes and medially rotates the Hip joint.
